"Frequently traveling transcontinentally with kids and half of an office, we bought the Samsonite Oyster to provide a protective shell for our heavyweight luggage. It’s the maximum trouble free size for airtravel. The rugged construction let me dare to put electronic cameras and laptop docking stations (wrapped in clothing) into a suitcase loaded to 50 pounds. You might not dare that, but we do not want to haul around kids and luggage on our rushed change of plains. Getting the luggage on the train, we enjoy the fact that the oyster is the best rolling hardcase of this type. In our abusive travel environment it’s roller kept funtioning. So far it has kept up with my good old Delsey that fits slightly more due to a more space efficient design." "I used this bag as my primary luggage for a two week trip to Taiwan and Japan. My suits were neat and unwrinkled, my shirts were neat and remained pressed. What really suprised me was the light weight of the bag itself. Strenght, duribility and lightness in one easily movable bag." We are both seasoned travelers and love that the bag will hold both of our belongings for a week long trip. The bag rolls like a dream. We just returned from Las Vegas two nights ago and we took our bag with us. My husband works for an airline and is very finicky about bags. He commented he really liked the bag and it was easy to roll. Which is a true compliment from him. Probably one of the nicest features is the color of the bag. My husband and I use the blue bag and it is a shade different from other bags; so we have no trouble finding our bag on the luggage carousel."
